AX3 System Overview
Coaching is a development process via which an individual is supported while achieving a specific personal or professional competence goal.

The Ax3 (Assess Accelerate Assist) system has been designed to enable individual educators, busy clinicians or other professionals, centers and programs, or organizations and societies to achieve their full and desirable research potential.

For both individuals and organizations AX3 is only the beginning of the journey. Once the initial competence goals are achieved we also provide team building and mentorship opportunities.
AX3 Team System Overview
This is a new Coaching System we are currently developing. The AX3 Team system is designed based on the same basic coaching principles as our original AX3 System (Asses, Accelerate, Assist) but it targets competencies related to team performance.

The new AX3 Team System views any research team as a collection of co-leaders who bring very different research skills set, and content expertise for the common purpose of producing high quality research.

Therefore the content of this System is rooted in the principles of meta-leadership, which is an overarching leadership framework for strategically linking the efforts of different individuals or organizational units to provide guidance, direction, and momentum across organizational silos that develop into a shared course of research direction and commonality of purpose among people and agencies that are doing what may appear to be very different work. The framework was originally developed by Dr. Leonard J. Marcus and Dr. Barry Dorn of the National Preparedness Leadership Initiative.

Mentor+ System Overview
Mentoring is a process for the informal transmission of knowledge, social capital, and the psychosocial support perceived by the recipient as relevant to work, career, or professional development; mentoring entails informal communication, e-supported or face-to-face and during a sustained period of time, between a person who is perceived to have greater relevant knowledge, wisdom, or experience (the mentor) and a person who is perceived to have less (the mentee).

Mentor+ System capitalizes on the relationships and trust developed in the AX3 phase and is facilitated by e-platforms as well as face-to-face meeting opportunities.
Nuts and Bolts
Nuts and Bolts are small parts of the research process, such as:

1. Structuring research question,
2. Linking the question with a theoretical framework,
3. Experimental design,
4. Statistical analyses, plotting and interpretation of findings,
5. Writing and reviewing drafts of your manuscript,
6. Preparation of presentations and posters,
7. Mock peer-review (collectively, we have 40 years experience in serving as reviewers for over 20 peer-review journals).

One of us will work with you on any or combination of these a la carte.
